August 14-18th, 2023 at Norfolk Snowsports Centre 9am - 3pm, or 9-6pm on water days
(There is still space and we will update this page when we don't have many spaces left!)
We believe that great athletes are a result of varied training opportunities when they are young. That's what we aim to provide. To that end, we've partnered up with Norfolk Snowsports Centre, Whitlingham Adventure Centre and Rossignol to stage an amazing multi-sport summer camp in the UK at incredible value.
Every day we will do everything we can to make you faster and better at ski racing. With a coaching staff bursting with national champions, Olympians and World Cup skiers you can be assured that you're with the best.
Every day starts with broadening our skills with maybe some slack-line, unicycling or stilt walking to wake you up. Then we head to the slope to train hard and fast. On Tuesday and Thursday you have the opportunity to finish the day on the world famous Norfolk Broads with some paddle boarding or kayaking under the guidance of the team at Whitlingham Adventure. Given last year's heat, the dive into the lake at the end of the day was utter bliss! The activities will vary every day and we'll pick what's best given the conditions.
Our friendly team will make sure that everyone has a great time!
Who is it for? Anyone who wants to get better at skiing and is interested in ski racing. We will hold a race at the end of the week and have some awesome prizes! Young racers, newbies, masters and skiers with disabilities are all welcome and we will challenge you all! We hope that you're coming to race at the All-England Championships the following week - that's what we'll aim to get you ready for. If you're in the race, then this camp is for you!
What do I need? You can use the rental equipment at the slope if you don't have your own but bring your equipment for skiing race gates. Wetsuits will be supplied for the water sports (last year it was so warm we just went in our trunks), along with everything else that's needed (just bring a towel and your swimming cossie). Whitlingham's staff will look after us on the water and teach you the skills you need to get around. You can bring your own lunch and snacks to see you through the day, or the bar will be serving at the ski slope. You have to take your ski boots off to go upstairs to order so it does help to have a water bottle of your own. Don't forget your fitness gear and trainers!
What does it cost?
The price for the whole camp is £369.
That's for Monday to Friday plus the two water days (Tuesday and Thursday where we finish at 6pm instead of 3pm)
If you want to just do a day or two, that's no problem as long as there is space. We will give priority to anyone booking for the whole week and then a first come, first served basis. The sooner you book, the better your chance of a place.
One day costs £66 Two days costs £132 Three days costs £198 Four days costs £ 264 Five days without water costs £319 Tuesday water £26 Thursday water £26
As with all camps, we have limited spaces - please book early! Book in by returning the booking form at the top of the page. Payment is by bank transfer.
We guarantee that you will come away with experiences that will last a lifetime.
How do you do such a great price? We negotiate a great deal so that we can pass it on. We have to thank Norfolk Snowsports Centre for their brilliant support. It's important to us that camps like these are accessible and worth every penny. We want you to love skiing, we do!
What else? We are proudly supported by Rossignol who will have their 2024 skis at the camp for you to try out and fall in love with. They also supply us with brilliant prizes that you can win throughout the week. Last year TeamGB got behind us as well and we're hoping they'll do the same this year as they gave us some extra special goodies to hand out.
Do you do a sibling discount? Yes it's 10% off for everyone after the first child - please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How many spaces have you got? There are only 40 spaces and we think we will be full, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Is there a residential option? There is a campsite close by and Norwich has some great places to stay. We do not have plans to organise this at this point but if it is of interest to you then please get in touch and we will see what we can do.
Will this be too much for my child? You know your child best. We will do our best to pace the week appropriately to maintain energy levels but we would expect them to be tired in the evening!
